If you are playing for real money, then here are some recommended sites:

You are not an expert at poker: partypoker.com
You are mediocre at poker: ultimatebet.com, titanpoker.com, absolutepoker.com
You are an expert at poker: pokerstars.com

Those sites play for real money and for fun.

However, if you wish to play just for fun, then I recommend:
http://www.worldpokersite.com/

WorldPokerSite.com only plays for fun, no real money.
They are the only website that tailors to playing for fun. They have voice and video, text-to-speech, they allow you to compete in different levels of skills. Each table they have has different type of players: rookies, amateurs, novice, experts. That's what great about it, they have as many tables to challenge you and yet, you like it's fun. It's mostly for bragging rights.

WorldPokerSite.com also lets you have your own website so that you can upload photos, share musics, share ringtones, share files etc. They even have poker forum so you can participate and be vocal. Most importantly, you play with people around the world: Canada, Australia, Malaysia, UK, Netherlands, Finland, USA, etc

Good luck and have fun ok?

Cheers,

Poker stars is my fav. Lots of free tourneys for beginners, and lots of cash game options for the "pros". I also like that you can choose your own icon photo. Also you can choose your own table and room skins. My top 3
1. Poker Stars
2. Full Tilt
3. Empire -Party Poker(same thing)

I have just reviewed Titan Poker. You can make up your own mind about it by reading the review here:

They offer plenty of freeroll poker tournaments and other incentives to make your dollar go further.
