Try going to Download.com
Type in keywords like, 'convert to mp3 format'

if you are having windows media player, then its easy. If you are ripping it from a CD.

Go to tools/options/rip music/rip settings choose MP3. Select the desired audio quality too.

You are ready to convert songs from CD to MP3 format.

depends what the previous format is. In itunes you can right click and convert. In media player set your options to rip the tracks in Mp3
