LOL means "laughing out loud"??? Oh wow, I was way off. Does that mean that ROFL doesn't mean "running over frozen lakes"? Man, I'm so confused now.

They are not really laughing out loud, but usually they are inside or they just think it's funny.

lol....( i really did laugh...okay it was a snicker.) I think some people over use it. Pretty much just getting our hopes up that we are some hilarious person whenever they are really just staring blankly at their screen. now when someone puts roflmao, i know that's a lie. I've never in my life see anyone do that.

I laugh in my head but not out loud so I guess that's lieing. Maybe I should say lih (laughing in head)

i doubt they are really laughing out loud when they are sitting in front of a computer with no one around/or people around. I think people say it when they dont have anything else to say.

If it's a girl, usually a lie. Men don't usually lol much. Whereas women are always trying to be "people pleasers".

Normally I'd say neither. It's a way of expressing that you find something funny - you're lying only if you don't really find it funny. Same way nobody is 'rolling on the floor laughing' when they say that - they mean 'i find that VERY funny'.

i might be weird, but i feel like im fake if i dont laugh when i say lol, see? i just laughed right there, it might have been an obsessive laugh which i dont really want to do, but i feel like im being forced to by my own mind, but eh, what are ya gonna do?

i type it if its supposed to be funny (even if i dont laugh) or im amused at something (again, even if i dont really laugh)
also, i rarley use do actually laugh out loud.
