It's not really all in our head as much as our brains translate different input based upon our 5 senses.

Vibrating molecules in the air can still be called "sound" if we are there to hear it or not. But if we do hear it, it is only our brains interpreting the information in a way for us to understand (that it's a sound and how loud it is and at what frequency it's at).

Our perceptions are not imaginary - they help us to understand and survive.

This really comes down to does something exist if nothing is around to experience it. Now, in reality, it all does exist. The walls are white. The pudding has the flavor. But what is the worth of these qualities without something experiencing them? Nothing. They are worthless without the experience. There could be amazing properties of stuff all around us, but we just are not aware of them because we haven't experienced them

Ah!, you have been making quantum pudding.
Have you tried entangling two puddings, sending one to a friend, then tasting the one that you have and asking your friend if his tastes?
