Drinking it and applying it to your skin are two totally different things. If alcohol is overly applied to the skin ot hair it will dry it out and possibly cause a rash and lots of redness. When people drink alcohol it's not rubbing alcohol thats in their drinks! They would probably get sick or even DIE if they drank rubbing alcohol! The alcohol people drink is ment to be consumed rubbing alcohol is NOT!

Alcohol in products can dry out one's skin, and drinking it doesn't seem to have the same effect.

Hair and skin are slowly changing tissues and whatever you put on there stays for hours. Your internal organs renew themselves relatively quickly and alcohol you drink moves through your system fairly quickly.
