Philo = Love

Sophia = Wisdom

Philosophy = Love of Wisdom

TO ME PHILOSOPHY IS a systematic approach to understanding BECAUSE that is what is has always been.

I do not think of myself as a scientist -- I prefer the term natural philosopher.
