My favorite is the we version of the Serenity prayer.

God grant me the Serenity to accept the things we cannot change,

The Courage to change the things we can,

And the Wisdom to know the difference.

The cross in my pocket
I Carry a cross in my pocket
a simple reminder to me
of the fact that I am a christian
no matter where i may be
this little cross is not magic
nor is it a good luck charm
it isn't meant to protect me
from every physical harm
it is not for identification
for all the world to see
it's simply an understanding
between my savior and me
when i put my hand in my pocket
to bring out a coin or key
this cross is there to remind me
of the price he paid for me
it reminds me to be thankful
for my blessings day by day
and to strive to serve him better
in all that I do and say
it's also a daily reminder
of the peace and comfort i share
with all who know my master
and give themselves to his care
So, i carry a cross in my pocket
reminding no one but me
that Jesus Christ is lord of my life
if only I'll let him be

My favorite prayer is "The Lord's Prayer" which actually should be called "The Disciple's Prayer" because that was Jesus's response to the request of how WE should pray...

Regarding the Serenity Prayer...? Change the "cannot" to "shouldn't" and the "can" to "should" and it's fine... As it's written now, those two words speak only to ability, whereas with the changes, it would speak more directly to the wisdom aspect.

Two things:
As a child, my parents trained us not to rubberneck at accidents but instead to silently say the Lord's Prayer for the victims.

When totally stressed, I use: "Be not afraid, for I am with you" repeating it over and over again (silently) like a mantra.

My favorite prayer is the prayer of Jabez.
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain."
