Which series of Acer laptops would you recommend? I've been looking at the 3600 and the 5000.

If your 3600 is Pentium M not the celeron one, i would recoomend it rather than the AMD setup of 5000.

my brother had a lap top last year and could not wait to get rid of it
what with batery probs & all sorts of other stuff.
if you on the move & need one go for the bigger one & get spare batterys as well
