what does it mean when aol keeps dissappearing and encountering errors?

i have aol and for the past 2 months aol has been disapperaring and encoundering problems how do i fix it and why does it keep doing that?

Before uninstalling and reinstalling, try rebuilding the adapter. I don't know which version of AOL you have or which version of Windows (or other OS) that you're running, but you can try going to Start, Programs, America Online, AOL System Information, Utilities, Rebuild AOL Adapter.

If this doesn't work, you may wish to uninstall and then reinstall the software.

Also, AOL is a RAM hog, so you may be running out of RAM when the software is open. Consider adding a memory stick to your computer, if possible. They are available for lowish cost at www.kahlon.com.
