Code 10 Error (The device cannot start) in Device Manager on Windows XP Professional SP2.?

Question

I am using an SD Card and in Device Manager it has a yellow exclamation mark (!) next to it. For this reason I am unable to access it. All drivers are installed and connected properly.

I am running Windows XP Professional SP2.

I have attempted to reinstall the product, and this didn't help. After contacting the device owner, they couldn't assist me, and no programs are interferring with it as I have attempted uninstalling most of my programs.

if you have the driver cd,all you need to do is go back to devive manager and right click on the devive you want to update and tell it to update drivers automatically if you dont have the driver for it then you can go to www.driverguide.com and search for the drivers there .after you've finished downloading the drivers go back to device manager and try to update it again.

This may be a pain but worth a try depending on the hardware.
first uninstall the device,from device manager, then remove it physically from your computer, restart your computer, run the disk that came with your hardware and install the drivers, when complete shutdown your computer reinstall the item you removed and restart your computer, XP pro is picky and likes to have the drivers first to recognize them into the system on start up, it may still ask for the disk for verification so leave the disc in on final startup, just click on auto install if your hardware wizard pops up it should then recognize the already existing driver files you installed.

errors 10 is a often used set up fail. you probable tried to uninstall it as quickly as formerly and did'nt get all of it out. attempt to seek for the rigidity and delete any ingredient left and take a examine out to reinstall. "PEACE"
