Oh my God I can't agree with you more!I was going to ask this same question, no kidding,I absolutely hate this team, and when they started buying all these star players, and still they suck.I wish nothing but the worst for them, although I like Canna.

they are missing the touch. They thought money could buy victory but they were wrong. It is a shame to see a team like Real Madrid going down to Lyon for the 2nd time in a row. Just says it all about Real Madrid and their quality.

Lyon is an all star team. One of the top 3 teams in the world in my view. As for Real Madrid, they'll always be good.

Real is a great collection of players, but they are not a team.
The problem with Real is that they sign the biggest star available, instead of the players they need. They already had Ronaldo, Raul, Owen, Guti, and Soldado in their attack, and yet they still signed Baptista, Robinho, Cassano, and now van Nistelroy, instead of revamping the defense which was and remains their biggest problem. Capello will help set things right, but they won't catch Barcelona.

excuse me kris r (or whatver your name is) but Cannavaro does not suck. Just for that one game doesn't mean you can judge him and say he was a bad player. The whole team was horrible...he is a great player and awesome defender. That was only one game plus how can you just look at that when Cannavaro was outstanding in the World cup? You guys cill out it just started you don't know what's going to happen yet. So don't look at this one game and already say that Real Madrid sucks..cause they don't, they have great players and everything. Just give them some time

real has real potential players, but 2 much of ego among the players, they are not ready for a team work ,they want individual laurels, which is 2 selfish for a team game

they want to end the trophy drought by buying players and a new coach but the recent result does not show the hunger to end the trophy drought.
