She died during the filming of Dragonfly. Her husband, Alan Curtiss, was the first assistant director for the movie Dragonfly. The Real Estate company named on the for sale sign, in the movie, was named after her.

CURTISS, Katharine Ann -- Kathy died May 18,after a long illness, at her home in Manhattan Beach CA. She was 44. She was a production executive in the motion picture industry and had been involved in a number of films made in San Francisco. She had many friends and colleagues in the Bay Area. Kathy was born in Los Angeles and attended schools in Orange County. She is survived by her husband Alan; by her father and mother-in-law William H. and Jean M. Curtiss; by her brother and sister-in-law William H. and Marta Curtiss; and by her nephew and niece Will and Liza; and by her sister and brother, Jeanine and Steven Silson.

I think Kevin costner may be the last beacon to great westerns. Silverado. Dances with woles OpenRange and post war "Postman" and "waterworld" He did well in the love of baseball as evident of "Bull Durham" and "Field of dreams" However Mr. Costner is usually only as good as the scripts allow him to be. "Untouchables" "Bodygaurd" and the "Gaurdian".

Never heard of her. Maybe she was a family member or friend of the producer or perhaps she was involced with the movie and died before it was complete.
