Yes there is footage of the first plane hitting the tower. BUT IT WAS NOT BROADCAST LIVE. But Bush has said twice that he DID see the first plane hit, while it was happening live, on T.V.
#1[CNN, Aired December 4, 2001]http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0112/04/se.04.html
"I was in Florida. And my chief of staff, Andy Card -- actually I was in a classroom talking about a reading program that works. And I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower -- the TV was obviously on, and I use to fly myself, and I said, "There's one terrible pilot." And I said, "It must have been a horrible accident."
But I was whisked off there -- I didn't have much time to think about it, and I was sitting in the classroom, and Andy Card, my chief who was sitting over here walked in and said, "A second plane has hit the tower. America's under attack."
HE SAYS HE SAW THE FIRST PLANE HIT, while it happened, ON T.V. This was not broascast live!
Did he have access to the attacks on a closed circuit television? I think this is a valid question because BUSH offers the proof that he did, indeed watch the first plane hit the WTC.

"Anyway, I was sitting there, and my Chief of Staff -- well, first of all, when we walked into the classroom, I had seen this plane fly into the first building. There was a TV set on. And you know, I thought it was pilot error......"

Well, if it is true that it was structurally damaged by the blasts from the Twin Towers and was evacuated, then it's not surprising there has been little mention of number seven when one and two, with the tragic loss of hundreds of lives, would take the bulk of the media attention. So I suppose it was a controlled demolition, and not a direct result of the attack on the Twin Towers. I doubt that it was about the media not being "allowed" to talk about it, but that they didn't bother, once having reported it, because there was no more news in it. Sad but true, loss of life is what made the attention on the Twin Towers so intense.

Yes but I don't know who took the film. There was a news crew filming another event nearby when the plane soared by very low. The cameraman zoomed and caught all of it on tape.

There were tourists that got it on film ... that footage has been shown for the past 5 years. It was not broadcast live as the second one was.

yes, there were many tourists plus there was a film crew doing a documentary at the time and caught it all on film.
Plus I understand some security cameras may have also caught it.
This was one of the most recorded terrorists attack ever

yeah i saw footage that some news crew recorded, they were actually recording something else when someone yelled that plane's flying low and they recorded it. it's crazy, there's not much footage so they don't show it as often as they show the 2nd one.
