Little people (or people with a condition known as "dwarfism") are very real. They have a medical condition that takes many forms, depending on the specific disorder. Dwarfism is genetic and only affects physical appearance. Mental capacity is not affected. Many people with dwarfism have problems with their joints due to their size and disproportionate nature, as is seen in some forms of dwarfism. Little people live all over the world, and are trying hard to get the equal treatment they deserve.

If by 'little people', you are refering to the fae, most of them were not little, at least not in the original stories. The Tuatha de Dannan were human-sized, and live, or so the stories say, in the faerie mounds, or sithen. These are found all over Ireland and there are also several in Wales and southern England. There may also be some in Scotland, as the legends tend to be similar, but if so I have not heard of any possible sithen sites in Scotland.
The image of a modern fairy is an attempt to turn the wonder of the fae into children's stories, and seems to have worked incredibly well, although some modern authors seem to be looking at the older legends for inspiration.

Midgets are real, they exist, theres even a show on TV about a family of them, and in WIlly Wonka the movie, the umpa loompa's are little people, and they live where everyone does, in a home or aparment, they are normal people, do normal things, just are short

They are real!!! but i don't believe they are any alive. scientist have discovered a cave in south east Asia were they found miniature skeletal remains, along with miniature elephant remains.The scientist say the skeletal remains were fully mature and could possibly have been a race of people in that region about 5000 years ago.

Do you believe in possibility of invisibility? Quantum physics assumes it. Do you believe that nothing exists except that which you see? Then, if you've never seen China, it must not exist? So ... don't disbelieve in everything that you don't see... you see far too little, indeed.

They're real -- I've seen a few in my lifetime. I think it'd be cute if they all lived in the same place like in Wizard of Oz, but there's no place like that that I know of.

They are real and live very normal lives. Some are married with kids.

also referred to as fey or faeries. the Little people are real, they live in many places, sometimes in hollow tree trunks, or under leaves in the forest, sometimes dierctaly inside a stone or crystal.
they are invisible, unless they choost to allow you to see them.
i have seen an few. and have some that have chosen me, or some of my belongings as their home(not really mine anymore, but i keep them around)

They are few and far between, but yeah. They often don't live as long as we do, sad but true. Which is another reason there are not so many around.
