As much as the rate of divorce is rising, marriage is a sacred vow and I'm sure that anyone who signed on the dotted line at that point wants it to last forever.
Tattooing your ring is the affirmation of that lifelong commitment. Dont hesitate to do it becoz of what ifs...women can worry so much, if your man wants to do it, go ahead and tattoo urs too! I wanted that for my wedding but my husband din fancy the idea.

My ex suggested I get a ring tattooed on my finger also. I think it's the tackiest thing I ever heard of! Maybe that's why he's my ex. I have several tattoos, but come on!
If another woman makes a pass at your man, he could always just say that he's married...now there's an idea.

I am a lot like your husband in regards to not liking to wear a ring, but getting a tattoo ring is not always the smartest idea. A girlfriend of mine and her husband too that route and now are divorce, but she has a permanent symbol on her finger she can't take off. I wouldn't recommend it, I would look for an alternative.

The meaning is in the circle of the ring... the symbol for without end. A tattoo doesn't replace that. Might as well not have any ring, which is acceptable.

It won't mean anything and is easy to blow off so its not the same as wearing a ring is...at least he can't remove it though..however, 'yeah the things you do when you are drunk' would take care of any question. Of course I hate tats so thats just me, if you like the idea go for it.

I think it is a great idea. I have a friend that tattooed her husbands initials on her ring finger. I thought that was a cool idea also. Keep on going strong.

A lot of people I know have done that. I work in a factory where you cannot wear jewelery. Most of the ones I have seen are very tasteful. If he wants to express himself permanently like this maybe you shuld take it as a compliment.

The only problem I see with it is if you guys ever wanted to get a divorce he would have to live with the ring for the rest of his life.

me and mine are gonna do it later this year.I've heard that you have to touch it up alot-ink tends to fade in that area.I guess we'll see. By the way one of our reasons is that in my line of work we are not allowed to wear jewelry-and I want everybody to know that I'm hitched.Plus she's a former stripper and some jewelry just doesn't go well with skin-whereas tats are always appropriate-

My husband and I had thought about doing that but we were told by a few artists that the ink does not hold as well
