I remember watching RoboTech. Who could forget the love triangle of Rick Hunter , Lisa Hayes & Lynn Minmei ? And the Zentraedi aliens chasing the SDF-1. It was one of the first anime series I watched and started my anime/manga addiction .

Robotech: New Generation...
The backdrop was perfect: an apocalyptic mad-max reality, limited mecha & protoculture fuel, the cyclone armor, and unique cast of characters made this series the best of the three..
I didn't care too much for macross or masters, but everyone i know loved macross. i suspect it had something to do with the Valkyries.. but the zendraedis (hmm, giant green humanoids) didn't appeal to me as much as the invid, who looked rather sinister in their various-stage insect/crustacean mecha.

I have seen series 1 to 3 , but this was more than 15 years ago.

its one of my favourite especially the design of their plane, but nowaday i'm more caught with the gundam where i'll say that's a mix speed and power in its design.
