This is so annoying. Sometimes, my computer will restrt when I just log on or it will do it when I'm working on a project or surfing. It keeps on saying the Remote Processing Console (RPC), has unexpectedly terminated. ITs been happeing for like 2 months now, and its frustating when I'm working online. It says to save all work and there is a time and it will count down from like 50 secs. Sometimes, when this happens, my computer detects a worm and I keep deleting them. I dont get why my comp does this. I just want to run it over with my car after smashing it into 2000 pieces!!!

You have problems.
Go to Avast.com and download their free Anti-virus tool, and install it.
http://avast.com/
Remember to remove any other anti-virust software you have now (it didn't do it's job). Go to Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > delete old anti-virus program
Then install Avast. You'll love it. Allow it to run all the time. The tool is small and very powerful.
Run the tool the first time manually. It will run automatically afterward.
If you continue to have problems, then go to your last known good configuration before this problem started.
Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > select a date that was before you experienced the worm symptoms.

It's possible, but check to see if you have a driver conflict with your monitor.
start>settings>control panel>system>device manager
There is also a key to press that will show you which file is causing windows to reboot. There is also a way to disable this feature. those can be found on the windows website.
You also may have malware.
http://www.pchell.com/virus/msblast.shtml
Get adaware, spybot, windows defender. All are free.
Install them.
Run them.
re-boot in safe mode.
run them again, and run ad/remove programs.

Tommy,
You may be infected with W32.Blaster.Worm, W32.Blaster.B.Worm, W32.Blaster.C.Worm, W32.Blaster.D, W32.Blaster.E and W32.Blaster.F.
Go here, and scroll down to "Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Exploit - Updated! " About halfway down the page, Follow their instructions. These Guys are MSVP "Microsoft Valued Professionals" and I have used alot of their stuff, in my journey's in the PC World. They are Trustworthy. Good Luck

Worms are a Virus. This is a known virus that is fixable and searchable on the Microsoft Website. Try searching for "RPC Virus fix" on MS and google for it.

You have a virus on your machine that is causing this behavior. Download a boot antivirus floppy form any antivirus company, boot to this disk and scan your disk. I have had this problem before and it can be a real pain to remove it.
Good luck!
