Sterilize a needle by soaking it in rubbing alcohol, heat it up with a lighter, numb your nose with an ice cube, then stick it through.

How To Pierce Your Nose

Unless you have an auto-clave, a hollow 18 G piercing needle, an sterile piercing ring and sterile tongs.....YOU DON"T!!!

It is dangerous! If you go through the wrong spot you can cause serious problems through out your entire face. See a professional. They are trained to do this sort of stuff.

I don't pierce you're own nose, if you mess up(which you probably will since this your first time), you can get a nasty scare-on your face of all places. Noses are cartilage, so its much thougher to get through than a lobe. My recomendation is to go to a real piercing/tattoo shop-its important that you take care of it well. Don't rush into it if your parents are making you wait.

*BTW nose piercings (while healing) need a special earing, not just a stud.

DON'T DO IT! I have a nasty scar from piercing my own nose. It never did heal because I couldn't keep the boogers cleared out long enough for it to form a healthy scab, plus it itched like crazy and looks gross trying to scratch it, plus the scratching makes it get more infected....just don't do it. They have magnetic rings available now so you don't have to do it. Check at Walmart.

I know there are lots of people who do home piercings, but let me tell you that I know a girl who did it ...she ended up screwing up her nose and spending 3000$ for rhinoplasty to repair the damage. Don't do it! If you're determined to have a hole in your nostril, go to a reputable tat/piercing parlor, and make sure everything is properly sterilized before you let them touch you. Trust me--NOBODY looks good with only one nostril.

If I were you, I would go to a professional. My son pierced his own ears, and due to ear trauma, he ended up with a big lump called a kelloid on his ear. That wouldn't look too great on your nose. It is worth the $$ to go to a professional, and safer.

I won't risk doing this myself, at home. Surely, u don't want to end up with half a nose left, eventually? Go to a pro - so u don't end up with n infection, at least!

you dont, It will get infected and when you are older you wont want it anymore and then if you take it out you will have a hole in your nose.

I suggest you don't do it yourself, I think that would be a bad idea

also, personally, I hate nose piercing, they look like you have a huge pimple on your nose. You have to look closely to see otherwise, so if I am staring at a girl's nose trying to figure out if it's a pimple or a piercing, I'm not looking at the girl

Basiclly guys only have a few seconds that they can look at a woman without seeming like a freak, you want that attention on you, not your nose

I watched my girlfriend do it herself, what she did was take a regular safety pin, sterilize it, then pushed it through. I was so enthralled in watching what she was doing what came next scared the **** out of me ... it went ...POP!!! We both were like Holy. Mouth open. So Heads Up alright Good luck.
