anyone from the concord, california area?

can you tell me what is there to do in the area, like family restaurants, shopping, anything family related thanks

Actually yes, I live right here in Concord. There are tons of restaurants to choose from-- anything from burgers and fries to Korean barbeque. The Todos Santos Park area in the middle of downtown is really nice. The park is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The city has a twice weekly farmers market there and movie nights in the park during the summer. There is also a summer concert series with various bands. Today the California symphony put on a performance. During Christmas, there is a Christmas tree lighting and sing along. Concord also has a nice two-story mall (Sun Valley) with about 50 stores and places to eat. There's an art gallery near the BART train station, and a skateboard park not far from there by the police station. Concord is a very family friendly city. The only place in the cityI would suggest staying away from is near the Monument Street area. There tends to be a lot of crime. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet and safe.
