Far left is very liberal and democratic meaning a larger more active central government, strict separation of church and state, environmental regulations, pro-choice, those kinds of things and then the far right is republican conservative meaning a smaller central government, anti-abortion, pro gun rights, anti welfare, anti regulation, pro big business and trickle down economics, and for the most part pro tax cuts. That's a good kind of general explanation but it can get more and more complicated depending on how much you want to know. Then of course you can always be a moderate and just be in the middle like Bill Clinton (mostly democratic lefty, but a moderate also bc he put limits on welfare those kinds of things).

Far left means ultra liberal
Far right means ultra conservative
Being liberal means having democratic views
Being conservative means having republican views

well it means how screwed up are you?? far left and far right are myopic people who see the world as they want to?Be moderate in all things!Americans seem to float left and right but usually center road after awhile.

Sadly, it means most people of good reason are being driven to extremes: left=liberal, right=conservative.
There must be a better way to help fix our problems.
