Hi I am 35 and my fave author is Anne McCaffrey, she is over 90 years of age and still writing. Her quality has not altered she is still the best in my opinion.

I'm 16, but I generally read a bit above my level, especially when it comes to fantasy...
ETA: Actually, I'd like to add that David Halberstam is probably tied with GRRM for greatness. It's just that I love the fantasy genre. But Halberstam is pretty damn amazing, and I love his books.
