Just got it 2 days ago, worked fine. All the sudden I go to play it today and it reads: "To play this disk, put in an Xbox360 console".

What does this mean?

I unpluged everything and it still comes up with this. It wont let me play for some odd reason.

Any suggestions to fix it??

I looked at the game CD itself and it has some marks near the center...

Does that have anything to do with it?

When we bought ours, the guy at the store said there is some problem with opening the disc slot while the disc is still spinning, that it mars the disc. This could be the trouble.

Try taking it to your local game store, they may be able to offer better suggestions.

Don't open your 360 when the disc is spinning!

Best of luck!

Send M$ a full report of what happen so they can deal with their mess. The only reason something like this would happen is because they rush to get their consoles to the market without thoroughly testing it. Mine had a similar problem every now and then, but when I restart the console, it would usually worked the second time without a problem. Your's sounds serious and require professional repair.
