The Answerman is a fool that that is angry at the world because of his self hatred. He wasn't spanked enough by his parents.

It is amazing how some people say that a question is too generalized.
This seems very typical of today's politics. Although the question should not generalize all liberals, it is easy to comprehend why it was generalized. It seems that when people who threaten or commit violence they are rarely condemned by people who believe in the same political and social ideology.
If some liberals threaten violence or commit violence, they should be condemned by all law abiding Liberals. For example, during the last Presidential campaign there was a local Republican headquarters firebombed. Instead of condemning such violence it was viewed that the attackers were angry at the Republicans and their violent actions were directly caused by Republican policy. Has you can see this reaction is common - blaming it on the victim.
This same reaction occurs with terrorism.
It might be thought that the same thing occurs with conservatives, but it is very different. For example, in the Ruby Ridge incident, many conservatives were very angry at their own party-since Bush senior was president. There was the same reaction during Waco-during Clinton's presidency. Many liberals believed both incidences were justified and the media jumped on the bandwagon.
No right-minded person believes in violence. Even the government has used violence against persons who do not believe in the way they do. Yes, it seems that Liberals seem to support violence by not condemning it, but they are feeling desperate. The country is turning very conservative, and since the last presidential election - where polls said Bush was loosing and he turned around a received the popular vote- democrats have tried desperately to figure it out. Desperate times usually result in violence and for the democrats it will be conducted by proxy methods.

Because liberals believe in violence as a last resort. We accept that there are some circumstances where when all other approaches to solving a situation have failed, violence may be justified for the greater good. Since there is no way you seem willing to be open to rationality or discussion, violence is left to us as the only solution. Apart from reporting you for all of your violations of the Y! Answers ToS which is what I do.

Why do so many people on this forum insist on making sweeping generalizations about those with whom they disagree?
I would love it if I never again saw a question that started "why do all liberals..." or "why do all conservatives..."
I think we can all agree that given the tens of millions of people who fall into each category, and the inevitable variety to be found in any group of that size, such generalizations are simply false.

I definitely don't believe in violence, AND I have an above average intelligence, too.
I get so weary of this Republican/Liberal mud slinging crap.

In this open minded society that we have today... there just isn't enough room for people like you and me... you know the poeple who think... our very thinking is politically incorrect... but so are the facts. So that gives librals the right to attack those who are not politically correct...
