Yes, they do. Some grow up to be drop-dead gorgeous. Some stay ugly. Some develop questionable morals in their pursuit of affection and acceptance. Look, beauty -- true beauty -- lies inside you and all of us. Physical beauty is gift wrapping. Take care of what lies inside. The rest will take care of itself. Oh, and **** the other girls at school.

Yes, and I'm one of them. I was ugly in elementary school. I was bone-skinny, I had pimples, and buck teeth. None of my clothes fit me right, and I had the body of a little boy.

It took me a long time, but I realized part of the reason I looked so terrible came from the way I viewed myself. I'd look in the mirror and hate, hate, hate, and that hate would walk around with me all day, etched right on my face, where everyone could see.

Beauty does come from the inside. It comes from confidence, and learning to love yourself.

Everyone changes a million times through their life. I'm so happy to say I grew up to be pretty.

If I were you, I wouldn't listen to those girls at school. Many, many people put others down to try to build themselves up. Do your best in school, and you will be able to tell who your true friends are by how they treat you. You don't have to take any abuse be it verbal or emotional. And by the way, there was this girl in my class in school, she has always been VERY nice, but...some people complained about her looks, which it did NOT concern them, and today, she is SOOO beautiful. It's not what's outside that counts anyway. Be kind to others, and be yourself with people you feel comfortable with. You will be fine, I'm sure.Good luck in the future!

absolutely - the challenge you have now is to know the distinction between pretty and skanky, as i have seen it repeatedly used as a coping skill by so-called "ugly" girls to compensate. this just delays your real beauty from emerging, and actually taints your image by 'cheapening' your look. the best thing to do is take good care of yourself and find something you can feel good about - people are always attracted to confident, independent and fun people. and remember to smile. genuinely.

Ugliness is just a word, which intelligent people don't ever use, because it doesn't really exist. it is something completely subjective so ,don't pay attention to your stupid classmates at school.
