I no longer have any mercy in my soul, so how do I do it?

I had the same problem a few years ago, invest in some Decon. It is little poison balls in a box that you open and leave on your counter when you are gone during the day. When you come back you will be able to tell if they have eaten some. Once they eat this stuff they are very thirsty and seek water outside. I went through 2 cases of decon before I got rid of all of them. But we did get rid of the rodent population. Do not use this method if you have a pet in the house (not counting the mice).

A mouse trap and some peanut butter. I used to live in the country and the mice got really bad when a barn got torn down. Our home was invaded. I bought a lot of cheap wooden traps but because I could not stand the thought of touching the trap to reset it, I threw the whole thing out. Mouse and trap. Well even though they are cheap, that can add up. I found a plastic easy set trap (at Walmart) with a hook on the part that kills the mouse. You just grab it and pull and voila. It's not gross! Poison will work but you won't find the carcass and that might smell pretty funky after a few days!

Best I've found is the glue traps. Non poisonous, and they're pre baited to attract the mouse and they get stuck in it. They're a couple bucks at walmart for 4 traps. Then if you decide you don't want to kill it, pour a little vegetable oil on the glue, and they can work themselves free from it.

save some money so you can buy a trapper, get a cat (or borrow one)......or set up mouse traps where you find the poop ( you know like a cage that the mouse will get trapped in so u can get rid of it.....and also to find out where to put it, just put it where you find the most poop (on average)......and u could buy more traps to make sure....

Is it a pet mouse that u own? If so give it to RSPCA.
If its an univted non paying lodger that has started sqatting in your home then I'd get enviromental people out to catch it humanely.

mouse traps will do but when the mouse falls for the bait ..well you will have to see a dead mouse and for me that is harsh, so if anyone who's living with you let them throw it away, but if you don't mind seeing the mouse then that's cool.I've had a mouse in my house, but i just got my friend to catch it by hand , but trust me , to do that one you must have skill and patience.

I am assuming this isn't your pet -- so, a mouse trap with a bit of cheese or peanut butter. Then, be sure you are not leaving food scrapes, etc out to attact more mice.
