Does anyone have any tips on getting "The Edges "sound from U2? I have had some luck, but any advice you could give would be helpful. Obviously chorus and delay, but I am looking for any additional technical info.

My husband, guitarist, says Electro-Harmonix (sp?) Memory Man delay pedal with any clean tube amp (Fender or Peavey Classic 30 or similar). He also says you don't really use the chorus that much, other than what the Memory Man pedal will automatically give you. You probably meant besides buying new equipment, but that's what he says.

unfortunately, the edge has had his sound patented, and any attempts to reproduce it will be met with lawsuits, fines, and 3-5 years in the pokey.

pssst: use lighter gauge strings, but i didn't say that!
