Why arent there any fat French people?

French food is so good and rich fatning. Why don't they gat fat? What is there secret?

The French enjoy their foods. When they go out to eat and when they eat at home they eat normal sized portions not the huge portions we get in resturants.

I think that they tend to eat more nutritious foods too, they probably go easy on the chips, dips and fast foods, they choose fruits over candy.

and most important of all they exersise, they are constantly walking everywhere. They probably do not snack in between meals and if they do they eat healthy snacks instead of junk food.

There are some fat French people. They have lower obesity rates because they eat less processed foods, and tend to rely on automobiles less than Americans.

I saw a program a few years ago that France actually has the best health-care system in the world...that may have something to do with it.

Unless you've visited there...I wouldn't assume there aren't any overweight people.

well they probably do have fatty foods maybe they just dont eat so much of it. if you eat fatty foods you get fat. but if you eat it but dont eat much of it you wont get fat. besides they probably exersize a lot cuz if you watch some movies theres like a ton of people walking and they dont really drive in france. well i hope that helps !
