I see the world as it is...
I'm thinking of a few reasons I can provide you with but seem to have too many for different purposes.
First off, it's horrible: a lady walking across the street with a cane in her hand; a speeding car and people watch as the life runs out of her.

It's beautiful: a couple of 40 years celebrate their anniversary. Dancing to the very same song as their wedding day. Tears run down their cheeks as their hair turns grey in time.

It's pity-less: a 6-year-old girl stand in the sky train holding her mothers hand. People stare at her as if they want a piece of her. She's lost in this crowd. Her daddy; an Honourable Police Officer died on the front lines of duty.

It's lack of understanding: She's getting ready to suicide. No one listens to her. No one to trust. She's got a dream to accomplish. Doesn't know that success is around the corner. The letter of acceptance to the top college is coming in her mail tomorrow. And she's got a rope tied to the ceiling fan. She'll never know.

This world is a beautiful place, yet so cold and heartless... sometimes. I'm 16 and I'm glad I've seen the evil already and found someone who taught me the promised beauty my future can hold for me or who has prepared me for the worse. There are such amazing people in this world who go out of their way to help you. Some will spit on you, and some may pity you... some just use you and some love you dearly... others don't know the first think about you.

Having said that, this world doesn't know me at all. But I would like to be known as someone. Who, I've yet to unearth, just someone who my Hero is proud to save.

Stay Safe. - Maryam

I see the world as it is, if I had to see it as I am then it would be one....mmmm different place..Lol :) But yes sometimes the world scares me (more the people) then I try to make things a little less real, so that I wouldn't die inside of pain and tears. Hey but the world is wonderful, life is wonderful!!! Live it!!!

I see the world as it is, not necessarily liking what I see. The world definitely does not see me as I am because I refuse to allow it.

The whole purpose of spirituality to be able to see the world as it is, and till such time as one evolves, each has a individual world of one's own, just as no two leaves are alike !

answering this question will depend on the person and his views on life and how positive he/s is about him/her self, you have two eyes and with them you can see what is around you everyone is the same but the one uses his eyes more than the rest is a person who see world as it is.

But the one who cares about how many eyes are looking at him and controlling him is a person who feel like he is naked and the world See's him as he is not as he think will look like.
