there should be a heat sensor in or around the fan. this may be your problem, sensor could be bad. make sure you check your wiring and insure all is in good condition.

-First make sure the the fan works - Unplug the fan. Run jumper wires from the battery + & - to the fan (blue + black -).
-Then check if power is going to the fan - With a test light or volt meter, battery voltage should be at black/blue, at the wire harness side of the fan connector with the key on.
-Then check if power is going to the thermoswitch (temp sensor or fan switch) In back of the radiator on the left. - With the fan pluged in, black should have batt voltage with key on.
-Everything good so far? - jump the 2 wires on the thermoswitch together with the key on. The fan should run.
-One more test to see if ground is good - With every thing connected and the key on, jump the black wire of the thermoswitch to ground. Fan should run.
-If all these tests are good, replace the thermoswitch.
