Learn to spell.

Nixon had no choice but to leave Vietnam. Liberals had spread so much Communist propaganda through the American media, it was impossible to cut through it. We lost that war at home, not abroad.

The Islamic revolution in Iran occurred under Carters watch.

I don't know what you're talking about with respect to Central America. The U.S. has no control of that region.

Bush 41: Didn't surrender. Hussein did. Bush 41 didn't finish the job because he was deferring to the UN decision not to invade Iraq.

Bush 43: You have a point. But as it stands now, with the way Liberals are doing their best to make us loose the war, ramping it up could cause political problems here and make us to loose that war faster.

Why did I come here seeking intelligence? Obviously I goofed.

We had no business in Nam's civil war against the dictatorship put in power by the French, and then another installed by the US.
Ford did not install the Shah, another puppet dictator put into power by the US, The embassy was seized after he left office.
The government now in Nicaragua is a democracy, after ousting the US Puppet dictator, Somoza, and after we gave up trying to run THEIR country. (PS. Saddam started out as a US puppet dictator also.).
Bush #I finished the job he sent troops to accomplish: Free Kuwait from Saddam's Iraqi takeover..
We accomplished our goal, to set up a civilian democracy in Afghanistan, even though we are still providing some military support
Iraq remains to be seen; Bush #II outright lied to us about the reasons to send troops to Iraq. BUT any one with a head on their shoulders knew it and let him get away with it!! The necessary TRUE intelligence was spread all over the media.

We have met the enemy and they are US, As a nation, we keep making the same mistake over & over, expecting better results. As citizens, we also keep electing the same people who will do the same thing over & over, and WE expect different results. All together we each have way too much arrogance thinking we are to set the rules of the world. Maybe we need to pull together for a change, use the brains God gave us, and quit spreading the BS, like this topic here is.
NOW I feel better. Thanx

dummy, it was Jimmy Carter that sold out the Shaw of Iran and did nothing about the hostages in our Embassy
The Democratic Congress stopped Regan form doing anything in Central America
Bush 42 did what the UN mandate required.... so which is it.. do what the UN wants or go it alone?.... y'all can't have it both ways
President Bush is being hindered every step of the way now. And it's the Democrats that want to cut and run.
Get a life

Because they have to spend so much time fighting the Democrats and islamo-terrorist apologist. It's a wonder they get anything done. If the rest of America would realise that we are at war with an enemy that will not stop until they or us are destroyed then maybe we could win this war.

Republicans have the reputation of being the party of war - whether deserved or not. Democrats have the reverse reputation, so need to stay in a war longer to prove they aren't weenies.

Republicans get stuck with the messes Democrats create, and have the balls to deal with them without complaining or blaming the other party. The stupid liberals should figure out their own problems!
