From alxzander the great to hitler, people have always wanted to take over the world. Last time i checked there was no 'master of world' job listing on monster.com. So why do people want it so bad? I mean it can't be that cool it never works; alex died of a cold and our nazi freind bit a sucicide pill.

In their mind they are trying to do good, but in fact they are just mentally disturbed. Everyone has a point of view, but some are extremest. Also I believe most of these people were abused as children, so that may have something to do with it.

People are greedy; some more than others. Why do people aspire to become corporate CEO's or just plain filthy rich? It's because they want influence, power, and control. It's just part of the human condition.

Just remember, there are alot more good people than bad.
You just don't hear about them too much because the news will not show normal behavior. Be happy and enjoy life!

Some people are just control freaks. Think about it- what's more powerful than ruler of one country? Ruler of multiple countries... and even better- ruler of ALL countries.You'd have authority over every president, prime minister, etc. in every country.
