Jersey, we got all four seasons, we have a lot of musical, theatrical, artistic, and cultural experiences cause the state is very diverse and live 1-1/2hr away from NY city AND Philadelphia. We have cities, farms, and suburbs. Malls, town shops, and flea markets. We have tops schools (elementary through college) and have many jobs in pharmaceuticals ect.

Plus, diner capital of the world and the greatest bands/musicians are from Jersey.

I recently read an article in Fortune magazine that listed the top 5 five cities in the country to live...#1 was Harrisburg, PA. I know it doesn't sound that fabulous, but I did some research. The median income level is $39,000-$42,000 and the median house price is $180K - $250K. Plus there are alot of government and union jobs available since it is the capital of PA.

I would NOT recommend FL...I live in Tampa now. The average job (non-management) pays about $10/ hour and the average house price is $350K. The traffic is worse than NYC traffic and to top it off the people don't know how to drive!! Save yourself some money and aggravation...don't move to FL.

well contrary to beliefs....florida isnt that bad when it come to hurricanes. only in the most sensitive spot like the keys do you need to be worried about every single hurricane....

as for a money point of veiw...just do some research. the housing cost more than some states and less than others.

crime is bad in orlando but what can you expect? it thrives off of tourists so millions of people come to florida every year..it is kinda expected...the more people, the more crime.

personally i live in florida and i love it here. i live in a costal county about 45 minutes away from the beach. it is a pleasuable drive to be honest and some vacation spots (sannibel island is my favorite) are absolutley beautiful. dont go to the Keys to find beauty. go there to find a long long road...a 7 mile bridge and tons of fishing camps...its pretty dirty and practically no pretty beaches...but MANY noce places in florida and the sunrise and sunset is like NO OTHER
