should i A. save my money and just send her plenty so that when she is approved to come here i have the money availible, or B. spend my money to take off work and fly to stay with her while she have our baby and then fly back i would only have enought income to last me maybe 2 weeks there, and then i'd be bone dry and may not have enough intime for her to come here when approved? what shold i do?

That was so wonderful of you just thinking of flying and being there when she gives birth :-)
I think she would understand if you just save your money, because in case she received your petition the baby can easily follow. It is expensive to fly international. Why not offer to pay for her hospital bill? or video-conference while she gives birth (is it allowed in hospitals?-I dont know) or be on the phone while she gives birth, at least you are still there.

I would save your money. An emergency could come up. I'm sure she has plenty of family support. Also, you can never be sure the exact date that she will have the baby, so could be a wasted trip.

Save the money but be sure to register the birth of your child to the US Embassy if you are an American Citizen.
