Sodium Pentathol
Yes, it's very real. It can also be used as an anethetic.
Sodium Pentahol doesn't FORCE you to tell the truth. It just makes you lose the will power that it takes to tell a lie and to not really care about the consequences.

As for getting some, do you have any friends that are chemists? That's going to be about the only way you can.

there are medications/drugs that when administered make you reveal all without inhibition to answers for questions. Versed (spelling?) for example is an anesthesia that when administered makes the patient suffer total amnesia of the procedure even though they are usually made "conscious" during the procedure. Other narcotics and related meds can have this same effect. I would venture enough to say there may be a Native American equivalent in the "peyote" tubor that grows in deserts of southwest US!!

There are varying levels of things that make people spill their guts. Unfortunately, they often get people to tell too much, like they will think they are dreaming and say they did something that they didn't really do. Ask an anesthesiologist.
