Maybe not more intelligent but there is a special quality about them, they need to perform well in right handed environment. It is not easy to do so.

Left-handedness and intelligence
A common belief suggests that left-handed people are more intelligent or creative than right-handed people. While there is an unresolved debate within the scientific community on how to operationalize both intelligence and creativity, some studies have demonstrated a small positive correlation between left-handedness and creativity/intelligence.
In his book Right-Hand, Left-Hand,[17] Chris McManus of University College London, argues that the proportion of left-handers is rising and left-handed people as a group have historically produced an above-average quota of high achievers. He says that left-handers' brains are structured differently in a way that widens their range of abilities, and the genes that determine left-handedness also govern development of the language centres of the brain.

In 2006, researchers at Lafayette College and Johns Hopkins University in a study found that left-handed men are 15% richer than right-handed men for those who attended college, and 26% richer if they graduated. The wage difference is still unexplainable and does not appear to apply to women.[19]

We would need much more studies to determine whether left-handed persons are more intelligent than.... I guess right-handed people. So who could say yes or no? However, it is a good question. Why? Because it challenges us to observe more carefully around us who is what and how they are doing. It also raises the following question : why would we be so interested in such a question that divides the whole humanity into two groups? As if we were not divided enough, as if we need more discrimination, and more regulations, and more problems.

Left-handed people seem to be better with math, music ,the arts,i.e.painting, acting, creative things. I don't think it's a myth, of course it's not true in every case, but there does seem to be a higher preponderance of lefties with these traits.

To those that believe left-handed people are more artistic, I have to beg to differ. My mother is quite creative and is only right-handed. I am ambidexerious, and I see some of those same tendencies in my brother. He writes with his right hand, but he plays sports (bowling, football, etc.) with his left and right hands. We are both really smart. Does that mean we use both sides of our brains? Of course we do!

I like to think so as do most of us left handers. We use our right brain more often and I've heard this is the artistic side. Lots of actors. artists, musicians are left handed.

No, definitely not, they are physically challenged, how stupid could it be to insist on being left-handed in a right-handed world, and not make that little extra effort to become ambidextrous
