I'm studying public health at USF and am involved with advocacy. Several friends are survivors.

I work in mammography and I had to say thank you for your participation in the making strides program and becoming an advocate.

You will surly be a God send to the women you help.

Myself, that is our busiest month of the year because our hospital gives great gifts during the month of October.

Unfortunately I will have to work more weekends but its a small price to pay to help women.

Thanks again,
Marcia

I am volunteering this weeked at the Avon Breast Cancer Walk in Long Beach. I am a 2 year survivor. My sister is a 13 year survivor. My aunt just completed chemo (she is a 2 time breast cancer survivor). My sister-in-law and best friend are also survivors. Two of my sisters are also participating in a long term study on siblings of breast cancer victims.

I celebrated this in December. I got all of the females in my family a Crystal Deoderant. Regular deoderants are causing breast cancer and are very toxic! Deoderant crystals work great and are natural and safe! They all loved their gift and now use the Crystal deoderant all of the time.

I didn't even kow it was breast cancer awareness month, nor know how to celebrate it. Sorry. Honetly people know there's breast cancer and they get checked and don't have it. As for the people that do, I don't really know anyone who has it nor know people who have it.

I have made a stained glass window with the pink ribbon and the words cure, hope, and courage around it. This will be displayed in my Dr.'s office. And of course the usual walk in our area. I lost my sister to this horrible disease....find the cure!!!!

A cancer type per month would run us out of months very rapidly. Why should we single this one out? I know many more people who have died of lung or colon cancer. Do we have stamps or special months for them?
