Of course it's true regardless of how well the relationship might be because life is a battlefield that is waged in the human consciousness. However to make life more bearable most people ignore this.

not prepared on Benetar myself, a lot extra props to Blonde, for my section. And no. It takes 2 human beings to create a wrestle, and one jerk to save it going, hence someone chooses to make it a "battlefield." in basic terms provide up each and every of the bickering and it would want to nicely be a sanctuary.

All is fair in love and war, and both are played out on the same battlefield. Guess it must be true.

It is, it always will be. If you didnt have to work or fight for it, you wouldnt respect it or love it the way you do. The beauty is the moments of peace you find in all the turmoil and remember just why it was you were fighting so hard.

It certainly can seem like one at times when lovers don't see eye to eye, lack of communication and compassion can also make love seem like a battlefield.

It so is! For me, it kind of ties into the spiritual battlefield for our souls, because God is Love and all. But more lightheartedly, it is a battlefield, especially a mental one, not only with the one you love, but within yourself ;)

It shouldn't be, but if you read enough of the posts in the relationship section, I would say that's an accurate assessment of the state of affairs (no pun intended) between the sexes.

I think it is....because trying to love someone and feel loved in return is something hard to do.

I do believe that is true. There is always one thing or another to fight about.
