I have a Mac PowerBook G4 and just got wireless. Working with the phone company that supplies the service, I tried 2 routers and they both were easily recognized by my Mac. Infact, our PC's and my Mac share the router we chose. The only thing to look out for is getting the latest in terms of g, b, or a. Anything can go down from the g. I am talking about your wireless( or Airport) internal card.

You don't have to get an Apple Airport Base to make it all work.

good luck

Hi there...most routers will work with a Mac as most are configured with web base access. Linksys and Netgear both are the most popularly used routers with Macs.
