have no idea, you don't say what is wrong with it. if it just won't boot, you can reinstall xp without losing the data. Boot from the xp cd, the first time it asks choose install, the second time it askes, choose repair. It will fix windows and leave your settings and data alone

well that really depends on what is wrong or what you are having trouble with... the windows thats currently on there should have a system restore cd and thats your best bet.

sorry to tell you that your going to have to install your windows xp to get it to work i not no whout computer you have but if it a dell you can call thim and thay will send you a windows cd to install.....

When all else fails, reformat the disk and reinstall WIndows.
You will lose everything, and have to reinstall your software, but you will have a computer that works.
