This is the commutative property of addition

Commutative Property of Addition states:
a + b + c = a + c + b
(In other words, the numbers can move)

Please note that this is not the associative property of addition.
Associative property of addition states:
(a + b) +c = a + ( b + c)
(In other words, the parenthesis move. The above equation has no parenthesis)

7.4-3.4+2.6=7.4+(-3.4)+2.6 definition of opposite of a real number

7.4+(-3.4)+2.6=7.4+[(-3.4)+2.6] Associative

7.4+[(-3.4)+2.6] = 7.4+[2.6+(-3.4)] Conmutative

7.4+[2.6 + (- 3.4)]= 7.4+[2.6 - 3.4] Substraction definition

7.4+[2.6 - 3.4] = 7.4+2.6 - 3.4 Associative

You have applied too (many times) transitivity of the equality to state that the first expression is equals to the last one.
