Yes, a $300 purse is a bit much for a 13 year old. I'm 32 and have never paid over $75 for a purse.

Depends on your family--can you afford to lose $300? You're pretty young, so you might not be highly responsible yet. It could get misplaced or stolen. If $300 is no big loss to you or your family if it gets stolen, then I guess it's OK for you to have it, but for most people having a $300 purse at age 13 would be ridiculous and inappropriate.

For a 13 year old, yes. For a Coach bag, yes! Granted, I am in my twenties and I make my own money. I do have a couple Louis Vuittons, but I plan to keep those for a really long time (and I don't have a huge purse collection).

Absolutely not I have Louis Vuitton purses from the eighty's the same purse I spent $240.00 on then goes for $1200.00 today and has a lifetime guarantee. Thank god I bought the luggage back then. If I ever choose to sell them I will make a profit so it was a good investment as they will always be hot. I go to country auctions today and sometimes find LV trunks. Also carrying the bag and luggage made me feel great while all around me my friends spent their cash on cheap items that didn't last or drugs that made them feel bad in the morning.

it's too much to pay for anyone from a normal income family!!!! I mean you could buy an ipod with that kinda money. Is the purse made out of pure gold or something?

if you're the one that is working then do whatever you want with your money but if you're wanting someone else to buy it for you... like a parent.... then get real........ i'd rather have a bunch of different $10 purses that'll match all my outfits than just 1 stupid purse. i personally have about 20 purses and yeah i think that's too many but at least i always have one that matches what i'm wearing and people think i'm rich only cuz i have alot of different purses but they don't realize that not one of them cost me more than $15. in fact, i just bought one last night for 6.88 at walmart.
