The new Ipods are out. They are almost completely the best out there now. They are cheaper, scratch resistant now (except the Videos, I think) smaller (not the Videos, I think) better in all parts, except that the screen is still pretty small, smaller than a half of the Ipod itself. I'm thinking about buying one. Wat's your ideas? Those of you who have Ipod Video, how annoying does its size to you? Those of you who have Ipod Nano, how small is the screen to you? Should I buy an Ipod? Which one?

I think the Ipods are "the best for the bucks" right now. Even Creative can't have a lower price. I'm thinking about Zen V plus and Iriver Clix beside Ipods, but they're not too new, and also more expensive, I doubt if they can be as good as the new Ipods.

The new iPod's all are great value for money products and by far have the coolest looks and the snazziest interface.
The screens are 60% brighter on the Video iPod's and 40% brighter on the iPod nano.
The screen on the Video iPod is very good for watching videos and movies and viewing photos.
Personally better go for the iPod video because at $249 its a steal for the features and ease of use.
Alternately if video is not your thing then go for the iPod nano because of its size and choice of colours.

I think all the ipods are decently priced and have lots of good extras such as the calender, games, etc. and they look great and all but look at the cons:
- scratches easily so you need to buy a case making it more bulky
- battery drains fast, in about 2 years must be replaced which apple charges about $70+ for if not more.
- most stolen mp3 player
I recently owned a nano which I sold to buy a cown iaudio U3 2gb. If your looking for a decent very small color screen mp3 player try that. Great sound especially bass, and colorful high resolution screen. Plays video/pictures/radio/in line and voice recording/and can be used as usb mass storage/doesnt require program to use. Unfortunately the max memory is 2gb. But look towards other mp3 players besides ipods and you'll be suprised what you can find for the same price.

Obviously some people haven't heard of them yet.
The nano is nice but not worth replacing my old one. I like that theyre scratch proof, and they look like a blast from the past (iPod minis).
Otherwise the shuffle is cute and wearable.
And the iPod video is well like the old one I don't care about the screen.
The best thing is they lowered the price!
I'm impressed by iTunes 7 thought - nice and glossy, totally Apple. The screen is good for navigating I have a 1G iPod nano, but you should get a 2G iPod nano for less $$$! iPod video well it's nice and the screen is gorgeus. Now even better because it's 60% brighter - can't wait to watch a movie on it.

I recently purchased a green 4GB iPod nano. I really like it. I had the older version of the nano, and I must say that I really like the new ones better. The durability of the new nano is way better. The screen is nicer and so is the battery life. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I just got and ipod nano and I love it! It fits perfect in my pocket and in my purse! The only problem is that I don't like the soft black things on the earphones, but I just pulled them off.
