I want to know what's a good to way to scare trick or treaters before they go to the next house for candy.

Oh..this happened to me once:id you have a shadowy front yard,it's the best place to hide people..but put a few unscary things in the front yard..have someone hide where no one can see them,and then,right before the trick or treater leaves,pop out with a fake chainsaw and a hockey mask.Trust me..you'll scare them big time.

Two or three weeks before Halloween: take an old shirt and pair of pants and stuff 'em with leaves, paper, whatever. Put a full head mask on top of the "dummy."
Seat the dummy in a chair near your front door.
After a while, the neighbor hood kids will get used to seeing the dummy.
On Halloween, before the trick-or-treaters arrive, have someone don the shirt, pants, mask, and sit in the chair.
When the kids ring your doorbell, the dummy can suddenly come to life.
Pandemonium will ensue.

I remember one year at my parents' place, my dad rigged a microphone to his stereo speakers, stuck the speakers on the porch, and he hid out of sight. He had spooky music playing, and when some kids came up to the door, he would talk into the microphone, describing their costumes and such. Some of the younger ones were too afraid to come close enough to get candy. Poor kids.

OMGSH! I love this jokes.... and my father used to love them too, so here's an idea:
You turn off all of the lights... maybe you see with candles or little lights, and then, when the kids start to think that no one's home, u go out with a mask, and scare them (I know, it's kinda old, but my father does that every year, and it's so funny looking at the kids getting scared!!)

Oh my gosh... what scared the crap out of me was i was going to my friends house to hand out candy.... and there was her brother standing behind a tree that looked like a statue.. so i was acting funny and went over there for a picture, well i leaned against it, and it lifted me up and jumped.. i mean i was litterally screaming at the top of my lungs.. she got the picture tho!

I had a friend who's brother laid on the grass and pretended to be a pile ofleaves and he'd jump up when they went by. Worked EVERY time. Scared the hell out of me!

a chainsaw, just take the chain off before you start so you cant be charged with atempted murder lol
