Because I believe that life is like a launched bullet that needs to reach its destination which is Death.

We will never know on this side of the veil (death) if it is a destination or simply a new beginning. I think what most people are afraid of is the unknown.

Yeah, death is inevitable.. but it's not like a destination that you wait for. It's what happens during your life that makes it rich/worthwhile... if you think of your life as a sinking ship, then things probably seem pretty hopeless.

Also, you never mentioned what happens when you reach your 'destination'... that's it? game over? I believe that life is a tiny blip on the map of what I've come from, where I'm going, and where I'll be... AFTER death. My destination is heaven, and that's what gives my life meaning... that's what makes this 'launch' period worthwhile. To think that people live each day in this perceived pointless existence until they're no more? How depressing. Look to Jesus... He'll give you a whole new outlook on life.
And finally, to answer your question- No. No one needs to fear death if they know where they're going.. if they have the assurance that they have accepted the salvation offered by Christ Jesus.

Every mammal is afraid of death, but only humans are aware that they will die some day. It is a natural instinct to fear death.

Many people claim to be unafraid to die, but in reality many of them are either fooling themselves or else putting up a front. Some times they are pressured by their societies to act like the aren't afraid of death.

Humans can use their minds to overcome many natural tendencies, including fear of death. However, humans aren't very good at overcoming their natural tendencies - witness how many of us have no self-control over bad habits like smoking or overeating.

Simply stating that you are not afraid to die is not sufficient - it takes some work to overcome fear of death. Some people believe that you can prepare yourself mentally by contemplating the nature of death and the nature of a meaningful life. The idea being that, when you fully accept that death is inevitable, your fear is reduced.

An interesting book on this subject is "The Consolations of Philosophy" by Alain de Botton.

"Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome." Isaac Asimov

That's what caused the religious experience to be a part of the human psyche....it cushioned us from the the grim reality of our utter death and annihilation....the fact that there's no afterlife and there's not reunion with our dear loved ones is something that makes life meaningless...to a certain extent.

The only true meaning of life is a temporary one....to decrease pain and increase pleasure.

Who is not afraid of death unless a fool , yes we are afraid of death even though we pretend not to . death means the end and nothing is more scary than the unknown, even though some people believe in the after life which is something abstract and unreal

This depends on what you mean by death. I believe that our existence is made of 'life' and 'death' that we all experience whether we like it or not. "Life" to me is the part of our time on this Earth where things seem to feel better, where there is no major heartache and pain. "Death" is the time where there seems to be no end, and everything is against you.
So, I admit I fear this death, but I do not fear my absence from the Earth, bodily "death."

its not dying that scares me itself, its more of what i'll miss and not get to be able to see and be apart of. but then there's that wierd feeling that does scare me, or at least frighten me that it's wierd that'll you'll be in the ground and there will still be people living and walking around, and you're jsut no longer around anymore physically, its scary thinking that sometimes, just any moment, you could stop living and youre just lying there dead. and 30 years from then you are still dead, can't do anything besides sleep and continue to do what you were doing the last 30 years, feed the worms....im going to say it agin, its just wierd, on of those days, you'll just be dead and stop breatheing, and you will only be able to lie down dead...everything that you were able to do is gone from you, everything that you saw, knew, expieranced, dissapeared somewhere...either into some unknown force that keps them all stored or they just dye with you and all the secrets you kept inside are no longer living with you anymore, no loner exsist, unless you shared them with someone else. but, beath itself does not scrae me, its not being around that does, hopefully there is a heaven and you go somewhere besides the ground!, because then when people say "live life to the fullest" , it would make sense because then you would just be uncontinued and dead and you no longer can say things taht you wanted to or do something that you wanted to,,,,well, i guess that there is this one thing abotu 'unfishined busines?' but god, yah, thats what i think, believe, think about lol, then theres a belief of another life?---sometimes i beieve that too, because some things just seem to familar from somewhere else and you cant explain from where.....? good day to you!!
