they read using braille- a raised alphabet of letters which they can distinguish by touch, instead of sight. They understand people just as everyone else does. They can hear inflections in speech which have meaning just as we do only better sometimes because thet are more focused on what they hear. They feel, smell, taste the same way we do.

Blind people have the abily to read due to braille and they can understand anyone unless they are mental imparied, there visions lost not there brain to feel and understand others!!!

They read people and understand using their other senses... most of the time all other senses are enhanced if you don't have one of them...

they have all tools to understand other than sight. if you have a good judge of character, then it does not matter if you can actually see the person.
