Recently, a few Congressmen have talked about reinstating the draft, in spite of the fact that the Pentagon is generally against it. Currently, the military is stretched in trying to keep up with the political goals of the President and Congress. It would only take one or two small wars to move Congress into reinstating the draft.

Not under this president. If we have the misfortune to get s Dem, maybe. If it is a Clinton it would be required. No one in their right mind would want to serve under them.

If we had such a need for a draft, it would have to be World War 3. And in that case, the draft is going to be the least of your problems. Your problems will include escaping the nuclear blast zones (near major cities and strategic targets) and surviving the radioactive fallout!
