Although I didn't necessarily agree with her politics, I was sadden by the passing of a woman who was comfortable enough with herself to speak without fear of being "politically correct." (Please pardon the pun.) Texas politics has historically been blessed with some rather "colorful" characters and Ann Richards will probably be counted among them.

I love that gal and am sorry to see her go! She is a great, outspoken and well-spoken role model.

I was saddened to hear that she died so young. She was a remarkable woman.

She will be missed. She was very outspoken and I liked her for that.

Any death is to be morned...While her jokes at bush were funny... I didn't like her politics.
