The View does not survive this year. Rosie and Barbara will attack each other over the show's direction. Rosie retired from the talk show business due to scandal and she had no business returning.

I do think that Rosie was a bad choice. I gave her a chance, but she has some disturbing things already. Example: When she takes a bath with her young daughter, the daughter asks her "when am I going to get my fur?" That might be too much information to share with the public. Another example: she said that the best way to get rid of diaper rash is to have a puppy come over and lick the baby's bare bottom. She said this worked for all four of her children!!!

If I were Joy Behar, I would be a little ticked off. Rosie was hired for a few million dollars a year. I'm sure Joy and Elisabeth weren't making that kind of money after being on the show for several years!! On the same note, Elisabeth needs to go!! She is such a little snob!! Get a younger host with a little more personality! It will be interesting to see who replaces Star!

Say goodbye to ratings? They have been down for quite a long time. Its more like "say hello to Rosie" as she is the best thing to happen to The View in years. She still has a very large faithful following ... the ratings will spike. But Rosie may be too late to save this show after the "Star Jones freak-fest" ...

EDIT: And that Elisabeth, always lookin' down her nose at everyone. They need to replace her with someone that has a brain.

I am hoping she will get better. I think Barbara is trying to tone her down a bit. Yes, I think she was a bad choice. Rosie is very funny but that is not the show she belongs on, just my opinion.

I don't know, she's very blunt and an interesting person, a lot of people on "yahoo answers" have been making a lot of comments, so perhaps shaking things up is what they wanted to do. She referred to a guy on "Project Runway" as a gay Opie and she hit the nail on the head, and she is funny. Perhaps men find her threatening as she doesn't seem interested in them, these Rosi-haters are the same people that froth at the mouth over Hilary Clinton

Actually, their ratings are up. Star had brought the ratings down. Rosie is a breath of fresh air on that show, which they needed.

Bawa WaWah isn't too much to write home about either!

She was a bad choice. You have to think like the public. People don't want to listen to someone like her. They want someone who is meek, quiet, agreeable, for the most part. Rosie is opinionated. She's not the majority. Oh, yeah. She also wasn't the typical "pretty" girl either, let's not leave that out.

I don't think so. I don't think it'll really matter though becasue as with any show, when the original cast is gone and they start adding new people, the ratings ususlly start to go down and it's the beginning of the end.
