In a one on one game, Kobe would win. LeBron is a hell of a player though.
Scoring Kobe >LeBron
Rebounding LeBron < Kobe
Passing LeBron > Kobe
Defense Kobe > LeBron
Free throw shooting Kobe > Lebron

For right now Kobe is a little better but in a few years, LeBron will be better.

Going through the answers, I see it is a close, lets say race, with a couple that dislike them both and 3 didn't even try to answer your question. A few even corrected your spelling, but I noticed they knew who you were talking about anyway. To me Kobe is not a team player, that hurts the Lakers. He is an exception ball player no one can take that from him. Mr. James on the other hand, is a team player. He needs some better players around him, then watch out. If Kobe gets his act together you had better watch out also. Now to answer your question my vote is Lebron for now.

Until Lebron does anything significant on the level of Kobe, Kobe will be the better player. Lebron has all the time and potential in the world, but we can't place him beside Kobe yet, let alone Jordan for that matter.

Firstly, It's Kobe, and seccondly as much as I love Kobe, Lebron is more of a team first guy. But, seeing Kobe in the playoffs this year sort of made me think otherwise - he actually did not shoot the ball...

I don't know who Coby is, so I really can't answer the question. For all I know, Coby is awesome. Sometimes the playground players just need a chance to be noticed.
