chips w/ dip or w/out? Javascript or flash player? Why is my pc not working? Why does category ALWAYS matter!?

Question

my point is this: I DID post my question in the "right" category - (computers...) - but got nowhere w/ one (useless!) answer! (No, it's NOT the first time!)
So now, I'm going to post it in the category that ALWAYS gives me the BEST answers - because THIS is where the SMARTEST PEOPLE ARE!!! (That would be Polls & Surveys!) thank you very much! applause... and take a bow... :D

my pc keeps saying:
"You are an AMAZING, bright, and beautiful woman!"
ok - not really... but it DOES keep saying:
"you either have javascript turned off or an old version of macromedia's flash player. "click here" to get the latest version of flash player."

BUT, when I click it NOTHING HAPPENS! WTH!? what's wrong w/ my junk pc, and HOW do I "turn on" javascript - whatever that is!???

and, btw

Do you prefer chips with dip or chips without?
(Man! I wish I had some chips right now!)

And please, I was serious about the javascript / flash player questions.
